We wish all the children who are leaving us all the very best of luck in their transistion to school. You are all amazing and will be deeply missed!
Our new opening times are 8am-6pm
Our garden is taking shape. We have a new pirate ship and a bright caterpillar to play on. The children are really enjoying the wooden wigwam and digging in the tractor tyres. Our construction area is complete and our mud kitchen is providing hours of fun!
The children upstairs are learning about ourselves.
Children downstairs are learning about seasons and enjoying their weekly cooking sessions.
Safeguarding our children is extremely important to us. Therefore please can I remind all parents/carers to keep mobile phones in their pockets or bags at all times.
Please be aware of confidentiality. Any concerns you may have regarding any of our children must be reported to a member of staff or Donna, our Safeguarding co-ordinator. This is to protect your children and all staff.
With this in mind, please can I remind parents/carers that you must drop off and collect your children within session times. We have ratio's to adhere to and staff are deployed where needed based on the children's times of attendance.
Finally I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for all their hard work and commitment.
Our nursery outdoor play area is starting to take shape. The children are enjoying the new stepping stones and cosy area. We have lots more to add such as a games area, a bug hunting area and sensory trays. The children have worked with the staff to develop the garden and have requested a range of activities such as a digging area. The children are really enjoying the pirate ship. Ahoy there shipmates!
These are just a few of our Montessori materials we use with the younger children. More information about Montessori can be found in our prospectus.
